You are invited to attend the Network’s new FASD training. “Exploring FASD & Substance Use” is intended to help service providers adapt substance use services and treatments to meet the needs of individuals with FASD and other cognitive impairments.
There are three dates to choose from and no cost to attend:
Saskatoon – January 29th 9:00 am
Regina – February 12th 1:00 pm
Virtual – March 12th 9:00 am
The three-hour training session will focus on strategies to modify approaches so they are FASD-informed, topics will include, understanding and identifying the affects of FASD. Shifting perceptions and creating a low-barrier approach to services, adjusting expectations and modifying services for neurodiverse individuals.
