Under favourable circumstances, working the front line in any helping profession is physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding; much of why compassion fatigue and burnout rates are high to begin with. Adding a global pandemic in the mix increases these rates tenfold and limits workers from accessing some of the coping tools and supports they have used in the past.
The focus of this webinar is to provide tools and strategies to take away and utilize for each person’s unique needs in taking care of themself. Self-care has become a buzzword, but we will be discussing the deeper needs front line workers have. We will be digging deeper and bringing awareness to what it is each person needs. Taking stock of how to shift what is currentlycausing burnout, to create a life that meets your needs while also continuing to serve in your position at work.
Tools and strategies are going to help develop self-awareness and encourage taking control of your life and empower each individualto prioritize personal needs in order to better perform authentically in their personal and professional life.
