Youth Tee Pee Summit August 16-18
Poundmaker’s Grounds in St. Albert, AB
The Vision of the Tee Pee Summit August 2022 is to host a gathering of many voices in sharing our knowledge, wisdom, and experiences. The Tee Pee Summit is our time to gather and regain feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready for representation in our communities, economy, and society at large. Together, we are better able to advance shared social outcomes, health and wellbeing following a global pandemic.
Tee Pee Summit participants will include young people, Elders, Indigenous motivational speakers, industry, and government leaders. The Tee Pee Summit is about networking, sharing stories, mentorship, social reconnection, including awareness and access to jobs, partnerships, training, and education opportunities in corporate, government and Indigenous sectors:
- • Young people: motivational speakers to share their personal stories of success – focus on mentoring, educational attainment, employment readiness, career goals, and entrepreneurship.
- • Elders’ participation throughout the event (explore the importance of culture).
- • Relationships with Industry and Governments to learn about and share respective mandates, potential opportunities, joint initiatives, and partnerships.
